Your bay
The concrete over your own rooms is the only place we draw a row.
One bay of a long roof
In the quarters, several houses share one long roof, but each household has its own bay. The row stops at that line. The neighbour's bay is not used to make the row longer. The visit from Madipakkam is free.

Where your bay ends
Rails do not cross the party line. The neighbour is not asked to sign a roof that is not theirs. The tank stays. A walkway stays. A house that stands on its own slab, with no shared roof, is an ordinary survey.
A party wall between row villas, where each slab is already separate, is the Padur case. Two families on one slab are the Kovilambakkam case. A flat that cannot take a common roof is the Sholinganallur case. A low shared wall that makes two slabs look like one roof is the Triplicane case. Columns of a next floor already on the terrace are the Kolathur case. A rear kitchen under a sheet is the Perambur case. City-wide module choice is on panels for a Chennai home.

Rails stop there. The next bay is not spare length.
Both stay inside your bay. The row uses what remains.
Central assistance needs cells and modules made in India. Eligible homes can receive up to ₹78,000. The amount follows the scheme on the day you apply.
Who it suits
Quarters that share one long roof are the usual fit, when the bay is in that household's name. A flat in a large block cannot claim the common roof. A house that does not share the roof is an ordinary survey unless another limit on these pages applies.
How the row is fixed once your bay is marked is on solar panel installation. Modules you already hold are labour from ₹3,000 per kW, materials excluded, on installation services. The Madhavaram figure is on solar panels and prices in Madhavaram. How the crew sets the row is on solar panels and installation in Madhavaram. The subsidy gap is on panel and price. NDCR against DCR is in that guide before an import is confirmed.
Show your bay, if the roof is shared
Yes. The roof visit is free. A recent bill and a photo that shows your bay and the party line, if the roof is shared, are enough to start. No modules are ordered that day.
No. Rails stop at your party line. The neighbour is not asked to sign a roof that is not theirs.
No. A house that does not share the roof is a normal survey. The tank stays, and a walkway stays.
Yes. Cells and modules must be made in India. Eligible homes can receive up to ₹78,000, subject to the scheme on the day you apply. NDCR is only if that assistance has already been given up.
A free visit from Madipakkam. We keep the row on your side of the party line, and note whether the plant should be DCR.
