Units, not appliances
Monthly consumption and clear roof set the kilowatts. Two air conditioners are not a 2 kW plant.
Read the quote, not the rate
A module rate is not the amount you pay. ZeroEB prices the plant after a roof visit: size from your bill, structure that still leaves a walkway, and a written list of what is included.

Two different jobs
If you already bought panels and an inverter, fitting starts at ₹3,000 per kW. That is labour: civil work, mounting, wiring, testing, and commissioning. The modules, inverter, cables, and structure steel stay yours. Details are on installation services.
A complete plant is the other price. We specify the modules, bring them, and commission the system. That figure moves with roof height, shade, and whether the modules are DCR. It is not a city-wide rupee-per-watt printed on a banner.
Labour from ₹3,000/kWFull plant quoted on siteWritten exclusionsWhat changes the figure
Monthly consumption and clear roof set the kilowatts. Two air conditioners are not a 2 kW plant.
A low clamp-down array is cheaper and can block the terrace. An elevated frame costs more and keeps the floor usable.
NDCR modules are often cheaper per watt. They drop the subsidy. DCR keeps that path open. See NDCR vs DCR.
Net-meter and subsidy files are part of a serious quote. A low module price that ignores them delays the lower bill.
Subsidy
Eligible homeowners can receive a government subsidy of up to ₹78,000. Amount and approval follow current scheme rules. Compare the price you pay after that assistance, not the module line alone. If one quote is silent on who files the papers, it is not the same product as a quote that names the work.
