The upper slab
The roof that is not downhill is the only place we draw a row.
Red Hills · written price
The amount you pay stays on the upper slab, not the lower roof. If you already own the panels and inverter, fitting starts at ₹3,000 per kW. A complete plant is priced after a free visit from Madipakkam.

Two roofs, because the ground falls
On a plot where the ground falls, the upper slab is the terrace. The lower roof, downhill, stays unused. A few inches is still a break, and the lower roof is not raised to match. Rails do not run down the slope. The tank stays on the upper slab. A walkway stays. A house on level ground, with one slab, is an ordinary survey. The roof itself is on panels for a Red Hills home. What a panel rate leaves out is on solar panel prices in Red Hills.
Labour from ₹3,000 per kW covers civil work, mounting, wiring, testing, and commissioning when the modules and inverter are already yours. Cables and structure steel stay outside that rate. The scope is on installation services.

The roof that is not downhill is the only place we draw a row.
It stays unused. Rails do not bridge down the slope, and it is not raised to match.
On the upper slab, the tank stays and a path stays. The row uses what remains.
Eligible homeowners can receive up to ₹78,000 with DCR modules and an approved file. Amount and approval follow current scheme rules. Compare the price after that assistance.
How to read the sheet
Ask whether the lower roof was left unused, DCR or NDCR, what is excluded, and who files the net meter and the subsidy. A house on ground that falls is the usual fit for this limit. A flat cannot take a common roof.
How any Chennai quote should be lined up is on panel and price. NDCR against DCR is in that guide. A bund parapet is the Puzhal price.
