Your slab
Your side of the wall is the only place we draw a row.
Triplicane · written price
The amount you pay stays on your side of the shared wall. If you already own the panels and inverter, fitting starts at ₹3,000 per kW. A complete plant is priced after a free visit from Madipakkam.

Where your slab ends
Where a low wall makes two terraces look like one roof, the frame stops at that wall. We do not step it onto the next terrace to catch more sun, and we do not ask the neighbour to sign a roof that is not theirs. The tank stays. A walkway stays. What remains is priced if it matches the daytime bill. A terrace with its own full-height parapet, and no low shared wall, is an ordinary survey. The roof itself is on panels for a Triplicane home. What a panel rate leaves out is on solar panel prices in Triplicane.
Labour from ₹3,000 per kW covers civil work, mounting, wiring, testing, and commissioning when the modules and inverter are already yours. Cables and structure steel stay outside that rate. The scope is on installation services.

Your side of the wall is the only place we draw a row.
The frame stops at the wall. The neighbour is not asked to sign a roof that is not theirs.
On your slab, the tank stays and a path stays. The row uses what remains.
Eligible homeowners can receive up to ₹78,000 with DCR modules and an approved file. Amount and approval follow current scheme rules. Compare the price after that assistance.
How to read the sheet
Ask whether the row stopped at your side of the wall, DCR or NDCR, what is excluded, and who files the net meter and the subsidy. Independent houses in the old lanes are the usual fit. A rented room and a flat cannot claim the building's roof.
How any Chennai quote should be lined up is on panel and price. NDCR against DCR is in that guide. A neighbour pipe is the Royapettah price.
